It will give you plenty of ideas and helps you prepare your students to become better writers. Also- I sugguest you look into some of the other books by this same author. You can adapt these lesson plans for any grade level.

Customer Review: The only way to search this dictionary is by location. Now you would think that "location" would include typing a letter or letters! However, what it means is typing in a numerical value that is somewhere between zero and a very big number! There is a slide-bar option that gets you "close" and by that I mean maybe within the first letter. This makes this version very difficult to find the word you are looking for, which makes this almost unusable. I feel I just wasted a good bit of cash!

Customer Review: I have two children that used Switched on Schoolhouse 2008 (3rd grade and 6th grade)and it worked great. It automatically puts lessons on the calendar and the kids loved the learning games. It also creates report cards. If the child does a bad job on the lesson, you can reassign the work and help them to learn the material.
