I have read the book several times and as my own knowledge grows I continue to absorb new and useful information which I missed on previous reads. It also makes for a handy reference when you are questioning a lighting layout. I would have given this book 10 stars if there wasn't a limit!

Although I have programmed other Intermatic astronomical timers (the wall switches) it took me four tries (i.e. 4 days) to get it right. A combination of poor instructions and a very poor interface make it tough to program.

I have never found a lamp that was really good or tall enough for reading, which I do a lot of, and I kept knocking the things over. This lamp is very good for reading, hard to knock over, and it also frees up space for MORE junk on my night stand. It also has a nifty little tray with a little slot that's perfect for my glasses and pens. I love crosswords.
